Our Story: A Quest for Pure, Gentle Lip Care

Lip Ganache started with a personal problem. When family members undergoing medical treatment couldn't find lip care that didn't irritate their increasingly sensitive skin, I realized there was a real need for something different: pure, gentle, and genuinely simple.

Treatments like chemotherapy and radiation can leave lips extremely dry and sensitive to synthetic chemicals and petroleum-based products. Yet most commercial lip balms were built on exactly those ingredients. I wanted a balm made only from natural, organic ingredients that would comfort dry, sensitive lips without adding irritation.

I sourced organic, unrefined ingredients: shea butter, beeswax, sweet almond oil, and organic essential oils, from suppliers who shared my commitment to purity and quality.

After seeing how much these handcrafted balms helped my family members during their treatment, I knew others facing the same thing deserved access to the same kind of care. Friends and family who tried the balms loved them, and word spread.

Every ingredient is chosen for gentleness and for what it actually does. We use unrefined, organic ingredients that keep their natural beneficial compounds. Our Chocolate Ganache flavor, for example, gets its smooth texture and rich moisture from unrefined, organic cocoa butter.

Our balms contain no dairy and no animal-derived ingredients except beeswax. That means they aren't vegan, but they are vegetarian-friendly, and we're upfront about it so you can decide what fits your needs.

Every balm we make contains sweet almond oil, which is a tree nut. If you have a tree nut allergy, check with your doctor before use.
